Reproductive Health Vs. Spiritual Health

Reproductive health, the health of the reproductive system and the changes in the body during adolescence. Spiritual health, on the other hand, Is the health of our souls, including the teachings of the Bible.
In schools, Adolescent Reproductive Health is being taught to students. They explain the changes occurring in the body, especially teenagers. Like fertilization, premarital sex,and others. Is that really necessary?I don't think so.Why? Because no matter how much they warn teenagers, some still do it. It seems to me that discussing A.R.H. to students only pollute their minds.
Instead of A.R.H., why don't they teach religion to teenagers? This way, teenagers will be more aware of God and the teachings of the Bible. Also, their minds will not be polluted by sex and other things like that. If the students are being fed up with religion, they will think that the changes in their bodies are God's will.
So do you think that I am right?

  1. As a teenager myself I agree with you when you say teenagers still do it even though there are ARH sessions BUT I disagree when you say discussing ARH is not necessary. Adults are just doing their job to "educate" us. I agree when you say it only pollutes our minds BUT think of this. What will happen if they never educated us about ARH? I am not saying that Reproductive health is better than spiritual health. I am only disagreeing that discussing ARH is not necessary.

  2. I disagree with your statement that ARH pollutes the minds of teenagers. Discussing ARH in schools brings awareness of the reality that reproductive health must be taken care of. It also opens up the minds of the students about the effects of premarital sex, teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, etc.

I agree that they should teach religion to us because faith also has an effect in our decisions.

Spiritual health and reproductive health should coexist.

  3. sha pt wn ... I think, they discusses A.R.H. to us teenagers because they only want us to be aware/informed about this topic. So that teenagers will be guided on .and discussing this is quite very normal to us (teenagers) .. And its up to the students if they want to follow what they learned about it ... Thats what I know about it ..ahahha

  4. I agree with Dixi- these two areas need to co-exist because they are facets of every individual's existence. We are not solely religious persons nor are we sexual beings alone. To claim so is being hypocritical.

  5. I dis agree that ARH pollutes the mind of others because this helps the students to know the importance of their reproductive health.
